One of the biggest blessings a couple can have is having a baby. Some may be blessed with one. Congratulations if you have been blessed with a baby with just a few rounds. However, there are also some couples who may have a hard time getting one. Several factors affect conception and pregnancy. If couples are really determined to have their own little angel, there are also several methods for you to have one.

Conception is interconnected with your diet. For women who are trying to conceive, they should consider taking folic acid before they schedule their baby-making session. For three to five months before couples go on with their baby-making session, the woman should take at least 0.4mg of folic acid every day. Folic acid improves the fertility rate of women by 80% by preventing neural tube defects.

Sometimes, couples just can’t have their baby because one of them has a fertility problem. It’s either the man has low sperm count or the woman having ovulation problems. For those who are trying to conceive, they take fertility supplements. These supplements help boost the production of hormones. These also include basal temperature thermometers so women can determine when to have sex if they really want to have a baby.

If you’re really trying to conceive, lie in bed for at least five minutes after love making. Fertility experts say that this will make the chances of the meeting of the egg and the sperm higher and will attain fertilization.

Women must also be aware of their fertility period. Doctors say that women are most fertile within the fourteen days from the start of their period. However, there are times that it does not lead to pregnancy. Sometimes, women can be most fertile at the tenth day, with the twentieth day being the latest. However, it could come even later if the woman’s menstrual cycle is irregular.

If the ovulation calendar did not work, don’t give up just yet. Couples must keep on working and have the session as often as possible. However, for men who have low sperm counts, they must at least be given at least 48 hours of rest in order to recover from the last session. If you are aware that your husband faces this problem, it’s best to consult your fertility expert for resolution.

Caffeine has become the best friend of adults in order for them to stay up for work. However, if you want to get pregnant or want your woman to get pregnant, you would be advised to set your coffee aside for a while. Though not proven, caffeine has been seen to cause fertility problems. If you really can’t say no to coffee, you could switch to the decaffeinated type.

Having a baby, though may seem heaven to couples is also a hard task. Couples may not have them right away on their first try but if they resolve their fertility issues and keep on trying, their little angel might come to them.
